Fair enough then. I was just confused and concerned it would end up in another skip soon. Thanks for the clarification. I’m all for it in that case.

tnb.The supporters club own the building but rent it to a fitness company. The latter have agreed to the crest going up,and the Supporters Club have applied for planning permisiion on our behalf.we have done a little touching up and restoration work on the crest and it is in storage.

Re: Going Forward.-Hammers United.
Who owns the building on Castle St then? I must admit that I’m completely out of the loop but I didn’t think the supporters club owned it and even if so the last I heard they were up to their neck in debt. I haven’t been down that way since a depressing trip 4 years ago now but I’d assumed it had been demolished by now or at least converted. If the crest could go there and stay there then I’m all for it, but it feels like it might be on the move again soon after.

Thanks HU for all the hard work
Personally I'd like to see the Independent Supporters Committee taken much more seriously with regular, monthly? meetings during the season. I'd like them to work on venders and all that, around and in the ground and stadium redesign bringing in safe standing.

Re: Going Forward.-Hammers United.
Went to brentford last night for the man u game. Crikey most of what we're looking for is eminently achievable as little old brentford have done it

i) no security checks
ii) welcoming positive smiles and help from people who are actually invested in the club
iii) longest queue for food and beer was two people
iv) local traders selling varied food in the ground ( a samosa bar , for example !)
v) beer was pricey 6.50 a pint of peroni however the guiness and fullers esb etc were all proper fresh pints of beer
vi) every person who was serving had clearly been trained and knew what the deal was and did it with a smile as opposed to the minimum wagers we have at the toilet of doom

The likes of West Midlands Police will be rubbing their hands at this. Will have big ramifications for our away support in particular.

Benefit of that is then that the groups of local youths who loiter around Westfield in an intimidating manner are also likely to be lifted. No?

They're worried that say a group of fans are walking theough a shoppong centre Police could say they are annoying the shoppers-just by being there.

Re: Going Forward.-Hammers United.
To stay disregarded it would involve the owners sustaining some relative success on the pitch and backing the current manager in keeping the momentum going which is great for all..........then I look at the transfer window thread........

Taxi ranks and safe standing areas are what HU should be concerning themselves about.
